However, we will collect your personal data if you wish to access other areas of the website or the Beeby Education Subscription Service. We do this by asking you to register or subscribe on our website.

The registration and subscription information we collect from you depends on whether you are a teacher (qualified, or trainee) or a parent/student:

(i) If you are a teacher, we will collect your name, email address, job title, the address and phone number of your school/college, a contact name for your finance department, and the names of the staff and students who wish to gain access to the resource. The teacher is responsible for informing the students that their names will be passed onto us and for what purposes.

(ii) If you are a parent or student, we will collect your name, address, email address, the student’s school address and phone number and teacher’s name. If you are a student under 12 years old, please get your parent or guardian’s permission to register on our website.

We gather this information to allow us to process your registration and to provide you with a password to access the website or the Beeby Education Subscription Service.

If you are a teacher we may also (i) wish to send you updates by post or email about the Beeby Education Subscription Service and our website from time to time as well as information about our other products and services (ii) share your personal data with our group companies for marketing purposes and (iii) provide you with information about third party products and services which we think may be of interest to you. We will include an option on the registration form to allow you to opt-in to receive this type of information.

We will not carry out any direct marketing to parents or students.
